Dialysis is a treatment that replicates kidney function by filtering waste, toxins, and excess fluids from your blood when your kidneys are no longer able to do so. There are two main types: Hemodialysis (performed using a dialysis machine) and Peritoneal Dialysis (done at home using the lining of your abdomen to filter blood).
You can schedule an appointment by contacting our office via phone or through our online booking system. Our reception team will assist you in finding the most convenient time for your visit.
In most cases, a referral is required to see specialists such as our urologists, neurologists, cardiologists, or nephrologists. However, for certain services, like dialysis care, you may not need a referral. Please call our office for more specific information.
We accept most major insurance plans. Please contact our billing department to confirm whether your insurance provider is accepted and to inquire about any co-payments or coverage details.
The health and safety of our patients are our top priorities. We adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols, maintain regular equipment sterilization, and follow all recommended health guidelines. Our staff also practices infection control and safety measures, particularly for high-risk patients undergoing dialysis.
During hemodialysis, you'll be connected to a dialysis machine that filters your blood. A session usually lasts 3-5 hours, and most patients require dialysis 3 times a week. You’ll be made as comfortable as possible, and our staff will monitor you throughout the session. Feel free to bring reading material, headphones, or anything to help pass the time.
Consultation times vary depending on the service. A typical consultation with a specialist lasts between 20-30 minutes. However, if your case requires in-depth discussion or additional tests, the visit may take longer.
Once your tests are processed, our medical team will contact you with the results. We strive to provide results as quickly as possible, but depending on the test, results may take a few days. You can also access your test results via our patient portal.
We are open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For dialysis services, extended hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Please contact us for more details.
